Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Specialist Education Preston £110-£115 per day Monday to Friday | 08:30am-3:30pm | Full-Time | Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role within specialist education? We are currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across specialist provisions in the Preston area. You will be supporting both primary and secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage in education, develop independence and reach their full potential. The Role Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs. Support both primary and secondary-aged students within specialist provisions. Assist pupils with learning, communication, social and emotional development. Build positive and trusting relationships with students. Support teachers with classroom activities and individual learning plans. Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement. Support pupils to overcome barriers to learning. What We're Looking For A caring, patient and resilient individual. A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to adapt to different specialist school environments. A positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils. Essential Requirements Enhanced Child DBS, or willingness to apply and pay for one. A minimum of 24 months of professional employment references. The right to work in the UK. Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday. Ability to travel across the Preston area. What We Offer £110-£115 per day. Full-time, consistent work. Monday to Friday, 08:30am-3:30pm.
