Field Service Engineer - Fibre Laser Cutting Systems £47,500 Basic + Overtime (OTE £60,000+) + Company Vehicle + Benefits Midlands Preferred | UK Wide Considered Are you an experienced engineer with hands-on knowledge of fibre laser cutting technology? We're supporting a leading engineering technology business that has recently developed its own fibre laser cutting systems and is looking to strengthen its service team with a highly skilled Field Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing division at an early stage, supporting innovative laser cutting equipment across customer sites throughout the UK, with the potential for occasional European travel as the customer base expands. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: Installation and commissioning of fibre laser cutting systems Fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and process-related issues Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support Optimisation of machine performance and cutting parameters Customer training and technical support Working closely with customers to resolve technical and process challengesThis role goes beyond traditional machine servicing and requires an engineer who truly understands laser cutting processes and machine performance. About You We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Fibre laser cutting machinery Laser processing technology Machine commissioning, servicing or maintenance Process optimisation and parameter adjustment Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis Customer-facing engineering environmentsApplications are welcomed from Field Service Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Applications Engineers, Service Technicians and maintenance professionals with strong fibre laser expertise.
