Finance Clerk / Accounts Clerk

A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an Accounts Clerk to join its finance team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). As Accounts Clerk, you will play a key role within the finance function, with a primary focus on credit control. Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to managing debtor ledgers, chasing outstanding payments, reconciling customer accounts, allocating payments and handling customer queries. The remaining 30% of the role will involve purchase ledger duties, invoice processing, cashbook administration and financial reconciliations. You'll also assist with cash flow reporting and support the wider finance team as required. Experience with Sage 200 or QuickBooks would be beneficial, although full training can be provided. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a credit control position and be confident managing customer accounts and collections processes. Experience of purchase ledger and invoice processing would be advantageous. Knowledge of Sage 200 or QuickBooks is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
