Research Technician - Life Sciences, Biotechnology Research Technician - Life Sciences, Biotechnology The location of the role is Stevenage. The duration of the contract is 12 months. The pay rate on offer is £16 per hour (via PAYE - 37.5 hours per week). Role Summary The Research Technician - Method Development is responsible for delivering results in developing and evaluating next-gen chromatography media. This position reports to the Manager, Analytical Methods, and is part of the Fibro R&D department located in Stevenage and will be an on-site role. Key accountabilities of the role Support the design, execution, and documentation of method optimisation experiments for analytical methods related to membrane chromatography products. Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing, ensuring accurate and reliable data generation. Prepare clear, concise reports and maintain proper documentation of experimental results. Provide support to ensure laboratory compliance to Environment Health & Safety regulations Collaborate with scientists to support development activities in monoclonal antibody purification workflows.Key skills and experience You will have a Master's degree in a bioscience-based subject You will have at least 1 year of experience using AKTA systems You will have experience working in a regulated labDesirable experience Preparing presentations and written reports to support decision-making in multifaceted projects Working in cross-disciplinary teams Use of SEC-HPLC or ProA-HPLC Familiar with Analytical Method DevelopmentIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
