Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Rugby, Warwickshire Morgan Advanced Materials is a global manufacturing organisation with a rich heritage dating back to 1856. We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Technical Ceramics business in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in driving quality performance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Investigate customer complaints, process failures and internal non-conformances * Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions * Analyse quality data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement * Support quality procedures, inspection standards and control plans * Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality * Support internal and external audits and quality management system compliance * Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters * Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site About You * Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar technical quality role within manufacturing * Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit requirements * Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and problem-solving techniques * Knowledge of SPC, inspection methods and manufacturing process controls * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality data * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement Why Morgan Advanced Materials? * Join a global FTSE-listed manufacturing organisation * Work within an innovative and highly respected engineering environment * Career development opportunities within an international business * Be part of a team focused on quality, innovation and operational excellence If you're looking to make a real impact within a manufacturing environment and develop your career with a global leader in advanced materials, we'd love to hear from you
