Drainage Operative

Gully/Drainage Operative Position Vector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a fast growing drainage contractor, at their depot near Cheshunt. This will begin on a temporary with a view to permanent employment. Job Description In this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers. Requirements   Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit. Shifts Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week Day and night shifts available Days - 06:00 - 16:00 Nights - 20:00 - 06:00 Pay Days - £13.00 per hour (PAYE) Nights - £16.25 per hour (PAYE) Please contact Robert on (phone number removed) if you would like to know more information or apply online
