A welcoming and creative school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Technician to join their Art Department on a fixed-term basis for one year initially. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about art and education, looking to support a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
The Role:
As an Art Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students in the delivery of high-quality art lessons. You will ensure that materials, equipment, and workspaces are well-prepared, safe, and organised, enabling students to fully engage in their creative work.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up materials and equipment for art lessons
*
Support teaching staff and assist students during practical sessions
*
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised art environment in line with health and safety regulations
*
Monitor stock levels and order art supplies as required
*
Maintain and care for art equipment and studio spaces
*
Assist with the display and exhibition of student artwork
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A passion for art and creative education

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting a busy department
*
Previous experience in a similar role or an educational setting (desirable but not essential)
