This role involves supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory needs, and communication difficulties. As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals. This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex needs * Assisting with communication and sensory-based activities * Supporting pupils with personal care where required * Helping to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment * Working collaboratively with teaching and therapy teams * Encouraging independence and confidence in pupilsThe ideal Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will be patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
