Systems Accountant

Role: Systems Accountant Type: Permanent Salary: £46,000 - £58,000 Hybrid Working: 2 days on-site per week Location: South Yorkshire Sellick Partnership are supporting a large public sector organisation in South Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Systems Accountant to support the implementation and ongoing development of a new finance system. Key responsibilities include: * Leading finance workstreams during a major finance system implementation * Acting as the finance systems subject matter expert for system design, testing, and configuration * Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery * Managing system improvements, upgrades, and ongoing development * Supporting financial controls, reporting, compliance, and audit requirements * Delivering finance systems training and user support across the organisation The ideal candidate will have: * A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) * Experience of finance system implementation, transformation, or major upgrades * Strong financial accounting and finance systems knowledge * Experience working with senior stakeholders and complex organisations * Excellent Excel, systems, and problem-solving skills If you believe that you are well suited to this excellent opportunity of Systems Accountant, please apply directly or contact Jack Rice at Sellick Partnership for more information.
