Our client is a market-leading UK SaaS business operating at the intersection of technology and social impact. With over 20 years of trading history, they provide a proprietary digital experience platform to more than 100 public sector organisations - supporting millions of end users. Their cloud-hosted solutions encompass websites, intranets, and patient portals, workflow automation, and AI-powered content tools, all built to the highest security standards. The business is in an exciting phase of growth with a clear commercial trajectory. They are now seeking experienced Senior Business Development Managers to join their ambitious commercial team.
Your role
- Drive new business growth across a defined territory
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of strategic, six-figure opportunities from discovery through to close
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior leaders in mission-critical organisations
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with rigour and a consultative approach
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, proposals and business cases that resonate at board level
- Work closely with the executive, product and delivery teams to ensure every deal lands well
We are looking for
- A consistent track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a complex software sales environment
- Demonstrable experience selling complex solutions to enterprise organisations - understanding pain points, building business cases and articulating ROI
- The ability to influence and engage at C-suite and board level without losing momentum through complex stakeholder environment
- An exceptional communicator, relationship-builder xwzovoh and self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind
- Strong academics - not necessarily degree level, but a demonstratable high achiever at CGSE / A Level, or equivalent
The package
- Base salary negotiable depending on experience with an OTE of £140,000-£150,000, uncapped
- Hybrid working – ideally you’d live within a reasonable commute of the company’s Surrey HQ and be able to go in a couple of days a week
