This is an opportunity to influence capital standards across one of the world's leading insurance and reinsurance markets, helping to strengthen resilience and build trust. Whether you're already working in capital modelling or have experience in actuarial reserving or risk, this role offers the chance to broaden your impact and develop your expertise.What you'll doYou'll review and challenge syndicate capital models and Solvency Capital Requirements (SCRs), combining technical analysis with commercial judgement.You'll also:Engage with syndicates on modelling approaches, assumptions and expert judgementsSupport Lloyd's capital modelling guidance and market expectationsContribute to discussions with regulators, rating agencies and other stakeholdersLead or support thematic reviews on emerging risks, including climate and geopolitical riskShare knowledge and support the development of colleagues across the teamWhat you'll bringWe're looking for someone withExperience in non-life insurance actuarial work, ideally in capital modelling, reserving or riskStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage work independently and communicate complex ideas clearlyExperience reviewing or supporting the work of othersCommercial curiosity and an interest in how actuarial insight drives better decisionsMost importantly, you'll bring integrity, openness and a desire to make a positive difference.Why Lloyd'sThis is a chance to work on some of the most important capital and risk questions facing the insurance market today.
