The Role As a Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker, you will take a leading role in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care while supporting the team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
You will: Lead shifts and support the daily operations of the home Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people Support, mentor, and guide junior staff members on shift Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people Promote independence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing What Were Looking For Minimum 1 years experience leading or supervising within childrens residential care Strong understanding of residential childcare practices and safeguarding Relevant childcare qualification in line with regulatory requirements Full UK driving licence (essential) A resilient, compassionate approach and genuine commitment to improving young lives Working Pattern This is a full-time role based on a structured rota: 56.4 hours per week (including sleep-ins) Shift pattern: xwzovoh 08:00 11:00 (following day) with sleep-in and handover 3-week rolling rota, averaging 10 shifts per month Includes training, meetings, and development hours (approx.
