Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire PE11
Shift: Day shift 4 On 4 Off
Hours: 07:00 18:00 (12h shift)
Pay rate: £12.71 p/h OT available after 48h
Key Responsibilities
Sorting and Grading Inspect fruits to remove damaged or defective produce and sort by size, variety, and quality.
Packing fruit into containers, punnets, or boxes according to specific company or customer specifications.
Labellingaccurately packages with weight, batch codes, and product information.
General Duties handle, stack, and move boxes, sometimes requiring light lifting
Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Managers or Supervisors
Maintaining a clean and safe, working environment
Following health and safety regulations, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
Working Conditions and Requirements
Climate-controlled environment
Flexibility
Good eye for detail
Requires walking and standing for long periods.
Hours work shift, including weekends, and early mornings
Required Skills
Physical Fitness Ability to pack and stand for long periods. xwzovoh
Previous experience in similar role is advantageous but not necessary.
