About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and develop a high-quality care service for adults with learning disabilities.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the safe, effective, and compliant day-to-day running of the service.

You will ensure that individuals receive person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, choice, and fulfilment, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities As Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of service delivery, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and best practice.

You will lead and inspire your team, manage resources effectively, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for both service users and staff.

The role involves managing budgets, monitoring performance, and ensuring robust systems are in place for risk management, safeguarding, and incident reporting.

You will also take responsibility for staff recruitment, supervision, training, and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.

Working closely with external professionals, families, and stakeholders, you will ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed and that individuals are actively involved in decisions about their lives.

You will also handle complaints appropriately and contribute to service development and business growth.

About You You will be an experienced care professional with a strong background in managing services within health and social care.

A minimum of five years experience in a supervisory or managerial role is essential, along with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality care.

You must hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, have excellent communication skills, and be confident working within regulatory frameworks such as CQC requirements and relevant legislation including the Mental Capacity Act and Health & Social Care Act.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff, build positive relationships, and manage challenging situations effectively.

A flexible approach is essential, as is the ability to respond to emergencies and support a 24/7 care environment.

A full UK driving licence is required.

Experience supporting individuals with complex or challenging needs, along with additional training in areas such as health and safety, risk assessment, or behaviour management, would be advantageous.
