- Salary up to £39,000 DOE An established facilities services company is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team in a permanent, full-time mobile position.
The role involves working across multiple locations throughout Glasgow and the wider Central Belt.
This position focuses on delivering both planned servicing and responsive repair work to ensure all electrical systems and associated equipment remain fully operational.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks in line with agreed service standards Respond to faults, breakdowns, and urgent repair requests across multiple client sites Complete all required documentation accurately and submit promptly to the relevant support teams Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements Record equipment faults and prepare reports or quotations for remedial works Ensure any defects are addressed quickly to minimise downtime and maintain safe operation Check availability of tools, materials, and spare parts required for maintenance and repairs Complete site-specific risk assessments before commencing work to ensure safe conditions Follow approved method statements and adhere to all health and safety procedures Attend emergency call-outs outside of standard working hours when required Participate in a structured on-call rota covering the region Person Specification: Proven experience maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a commercial or facilities environment Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability Basic understanding of general building maintenance tasks Recognised electrical qualification Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification Testing and inspection qualification (e.g.
2391) is beneficial xwzovoh but not essential Full UK driving licence required Additional Experience is advantageous: Low voltage distribution systems and switchgear Fire detection and alarm systems Air conditioning and ventilation systems Heating systems including boilers and pumps Salary & Benefits Competitive salary up to £39,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Option to purchase additional annual leave Paid days for volunteering or community initiatives Ongoing training and development, including professional qualifications and tailored learning support
