CNC Setter

Role: CNC Setter (Milling & Turning) Location: Halesowen/ Cradley Heath Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm Hourly Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with milling and turning experience to join our client, a well-established engineering business in Halesowen. Renowned for delivering high-quality machined components to a diverse range of industries, our client prides itself on its commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and investment in both its people and technology. Key Responsibilities: Operating CNC milling and turning machines Reading and interpreting technical drawings Selecting and changing tooling as required Monitoring production to ensure quality standards are met Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipmentRequirements: Previous experience operating CNC milling and turning machines. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and verniers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
