Heavy Plant Fitter

Heavy Plant Fitter Permanent/Temp to perm V-Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced, Heavy Plant Fitter, on behalf of an Engineering and Construction contractor, based in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire. This is a permanent role. Duties to include; * Maintain, service, diagnose and repair Heavy Plant Equipment, such as Wirtgen, JCBs etc. * Ensure completion of company documentation relating to heavy plant * Fault finding, inspections and repairs on small plant will also be required, i.e. multidrill, angle grinders etc. * Occasionally, you may have to travel to sites to complete repairs – you will receive additional pay for this * Use and operate workshop facilities and equipment in accordance with company and legislative requirements * Must be able to make decisions and problem solve Normal working hours are 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday Ad hoc overtime is available, paid at enhanced overtime rates £Negotiable rate, D.O.E.
