As we prepare to open our flagship restaurant in Leicester Square, Central London, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in launching a high-profile restaurant and helping to deliver an outstanding guest experience in one of London's busiest dining destinations.
The Role
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficient operations, and a positive working environment for the team.
You will lead by example on the floor, motivate staff, and ensure every guest receives a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily targets and operational updates.
Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, guidance, and training where required.
Ensure all company service standards and procedures are consistently followed.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
Support management with staff scheduling and shift coordination.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the restaurant.
Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and service flow.
Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
Monitor restaurant opening and closing procedures.
Support stock management, inventory control, and ordering processes when required.
Assist in achieving sales, labour, and operational targets.
Act as a point of contact for team members during shifts and support management in driving business performance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
45 years' experience within the hospitality industry.
Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Floor Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Waiter/Waitress.
Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Good understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen compliance.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience within Indian, vegetarian, or casual dining restaurants would be advantageous but is not essential.
