Salary: £50,000
Shift: Monday - Friday (06:00-15:00)
Location: Worcestershire (Commutable from Worcester, Gloucester, Evesham, Cheltenham, Redditch and surrounding areas)

Zest are working closely with a reputable and successful food manufacturer looking to expand its team due to internal growth and investment within the business! This is a fantastic opportunity to leave those night shifts behind and join a highly experienced maintenance team that puts their engineers first!

Main Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
* Perform root cause analysis on component failures and implement improvement measures.
* Respond to and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns, including fault-finding.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Plan and execute small-scale engineering projects.
* Specify and source replacement parts and equipment.

What we are looking for:
* Strong electrical & mechanical knowledge, preferably within food manufacturing
* Clear and confident communication abilities.
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* City & Guilds qualified or time-served multi-skilled engineer.
* Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous.
* Fabrication and welding experience is beneficial.
* Proven experience in multi-skilled engineering roles.
