Full Stack Engineer (Graph DB)Location:           Leeds or London (Hybrid)Type:                 Contract / Fixed-Term EmploymentStart:                 ASAPWe’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build and modernise the Global Data Network (GDN), a high-impact platform enabling the secure sharing and analysis of fraud intelligence across systems.This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll work across backend services, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and UI, contributing to the evolution of a cloud-native, API-driven architecture.You’ll play a critical role in transforming legacy data-sharing approaches into a scalable, real-time, graph-powered platform that enhances fraud detection and intelligence capabilities.What You’ll Be DoingDesign, build, and evolve the Global Data Network platformLead the transition from database/CSV-based data sharing to a modern, cloud-native, API-driven architectureDevelop backend services to support real-time fraud data ingestion, processing, and distributionDesign and implement graph-based data models to uncover relationships between fraud-related entitiesBuild and optimise scalable solutions on Azure, contributing to architecture and platform design decisionsDevelop APIs enabling real-time and near real-time data exchange across systemsContribute to lightweight UI components for visualising graph relationships and entity connectionsCollaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to deliver high-performance solutionsWhat We’re Looking ForCore ExperienceStrong Full Stack engineering experience with a clear strength in backend developmentHands-on expertise in Java (preferred) or PythonExperience building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applicationsStrong experience working with Azure cloud services and modern architecturesSolid understanding of data modelling, database design, and data processing systemsSpecialist SkillsExperience with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, Cosmos DB Gremlin, or similar)Ability to model complex relationships and entity networksExperience working on real-time or near real-time data platformsFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)Hurry & apply to learn more!#UST
