Account Manager (Hard FM) 📍 Manchester & Leeds Region (Field-Based) 🏢 Pareto FM 💰 Competitive Salary + Benefits Pareto FM is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager (Hard FM) to lead the delivery of technical facilities management services across a portfolio of client sites throughout the Manchester and Leeds region. This is a field-based role where travel between sites is a core part of the position. You’ll take full ownership of operational performance, compliance, and financial delivery across multiple locations, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality engineering standards across your portfolio. The Role As Account Manager, you’ll be accountable for the successful delivery of hard FM services across multiple sites, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently in line with contractual expectations. You’ll act as the senior point of contact for the client while leading engineering and technical teams across your portfolio, driving operational consistency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Act as the primary client contact across multiple sites • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders • Lead and support engineering and technical teams across your portfolio • Drive consistency in planned and reactive maintenance delivery • Oversee hard FM services including M&E maintenance, compliance, statutory inspections, and building systems • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, taking corrective action where required • Manage subcontractors and specialist service partners • Take ownership of contract performance across multiple sites • Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control • Identify opportunities for efficiencies, lifecycle planning, and service improvements • Produce operational and financial performance reports What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in an Account Manager, Facilities Manager, or Senior Hard FM role • Strong background in hard FM, M&E, compliance, and building services • Experience managing multi-site or mobile contracts • Strong leadership experience managing engineering and technical teams • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills • Strong commercial awareness and budget management capability • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly About You • Comfortable working in a field-based, mobile role • A natural leader with strong technical understanding • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused • Professional and client-focused in your approach • Driven to deliver safe, compliant, high-performing building operations Why Join Pareto FM? • Varied multi-site leadership role with genuine autonomy • Opportunity to manage a diverse technical portfolio • Strong support structure within a growing FM business • A culture focused on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement • Opportunity to make a visible impact across key client accounts If you’re an experienced Hard FM leader looking for a role where you can take ownership, lead technical teams, and build strong client partnerships — we’d love to hear from you. #hybrid #remote
