SEN Early Years Practitioner - Poole Pay: From £14.25 per hour Start Date: ASAP Prospero Teaching is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive early years setting in Poole. They are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3 qualified) to join their team and provide high‑quality support for children aged 0-5 with a range of additional needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development, with a particular interest in supporting children with SEND, including Autism, Speech & Language delay, sensory needs, and social‑emotional development. What You'll Be Doing As an SEN Early Years Practitioner, you will: Support daily routines and learning activities within the early years environment Provide nurturing, individualised support for children with additional needs Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate, SEN‑focused activities Encourage children's communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionals Communicate positively with parents and carers Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times What We're Looking For We'd love to hear from you if you: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification Have experience supporting children in an early years or SEN setting Bring warmth, patience, and a child‑centred approach Understand the EYFS framework and early child development Communicate clearly and kindly with families and colleagues Are reliable, flexible, and a strong team player Requirements To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Have the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply) Provide two professional references from the past 24 months Be available for full‑time hours, Monday to Friday What We Offer Free accredited CPD, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEN training Access to our dedicated Training & Development Team Ongoing support from a specialist Early Years & SEN consultant Ready to Apply?
