The Opportunity
An established and growing independent financial planning business is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their technical team based in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is Level 4 qualified, currently working towards Level 6/Chartered status, and has at least 2 years’ experience within a technical support, report writing or paraplanning role.

The Role
Working closely with advisers and the team, you will support the delivery of high-quality financial planning solutions and outstanding client outcomes.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparing review packs for client meetings within agreed timescales
* Writing suitability reports and recommendation letters
* Preparing advice packs and application documentation
* Submitting requests for information to providers
* Conducting research using financial planning and provider tools
* Supporting cashflow planning activities
* Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will ideally have:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience within paraplanning or report writing in financial services
* Level 4 Diploma qualification as a minimum
* Started or planning to start working towards Level 6 / Chartered status
* Strong understanding of investments, pensions, protection products and attitude to risk
* Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workloads and work effectively under pressure
* Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* A positive and team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic
The Package
* Salary circa £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
