PPA Cover Class Teacher

The successful candidate will work Tuesday to Thursday, providing PPA cover across all five classes and supporting leadership and monitoring activities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a school that values individualised learning, community, and the holistic development of every child. The role begins at the start of the upcoming term and continues on a fixed-term basis, subject to ongoing needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality teaching across all primary year groups during PPA cover, ensuring continuity of learning and adherence to the national curriculum. - Deliver planned lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum policies, maintaining high standards of classroom management and behaviour. - Support the planning, assessment, and personalised learning goals for pupils, recognising their unique interests and needs. - Assist in creating a nurturing classroom environment that reflects the school’s ethos of respect, inclusivity, and development. - Support the monitoring and evaluation of pupil progress, providing feedback to colleagues and contributing to pupil assessments. - Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to ensure that teaching practices uphold the school's commitment to holistic education and individualised support. - Contribute to school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities as required. - On the third day each week, support senior leadership and staff in monitoring activities, data collection, and school development initiatives.
