Facilities Team Leader – Glasgow 📍 Glasgow 💰 Salary up to £47,000 DOE ⏰ 37-Hour Working Week 🙌 1pm Finish Every Friday 🚐 Company Van + Fuel Card 📞 1 in 12 On-Call 🏖️ 30 Days' Holiday FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Team Leader to join a leading Facilities Management provider on a key contract in Glasgow. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for an experienced engineer or existing Team Leader/Supervisor from a Mechanical, Commercial Gas or Air Conditioning/HVAC background who is confident supporting and coordinating a multi-skilled engineering team. Working closely with the Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of engineering services, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed effectively and the contract continues to meet its KPIs and service standards. The Role As Facilities Team Leader, you will: * Coordinate and support the engineering team on a day-to-day basis * Assist the Account Manager with the delivery of engineering services across the contract * Allocate and coordinate engineering resources for planned and reactive works * Monitor reactive jobs to ensure response times and contractual KPIs are achieved * Monitor PPM activity to ensure works are completed on schedule * Provide technical guidance and support to engineers * Assist with hands-on engineering and reactive works when required * Work closely with the Administrator to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows * Ensure compliance documentation and relevant certifications remain up to date * Liaise professionally with the client, engineers and on-site teams * Identify and escalate issues that could impact service delivery * Support engineers with technical queries and day-to-day operational issues * Promote safe working practices across the contract About You We’re keen to speak with candidates from a Mechanical, Commercial Gas or Air Conditioning/HVAC background. You should have: * Strong technical engineering and maintenance experience * A recognised qualification within your relevant trade * Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or commercial maintenance * Good knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Confidence coordinating and supporting engineers * Good organisational and communication skills * Strong client-facing skills * Full UK driving licence Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be advantageous; however, we would also consider a strong senior engineer who is ready to progress into a leadership position.
