Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB1) Duration: Temporary - up to 6 months Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Part time hours considered Salary: £13-15ph DoE Job Reference: 36173 Polytec are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Technician to join our central Cambridge based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of cable ends and the soldering of fine wires onto very small PCBs. This is a hands-on role requiring precision and steady manual dexterity. You will also complete final product assembly. Responsibilities * Prepare cable ends to specification * Solder small-gauge wires onto miniature PCB components * Follow detailed instructions and quality standards * Maintain accuracy and consistency in all assembly tasks * Keep a clean and organised work area Requirements * Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands * Strong attention to detail * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to follow technical instructions * No specific soldering or electronics experience required - full training will be provided Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
