FLT Reach Truck Driver / PPT Driver Heywood £14.00 per hour We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Heywood for an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver / PPT Driver to join their warehouse team. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and commitment. Duties Order picking and preparing goods for dispatch Moving stock around the warehouse using PPT and Reach Truck General warehouse duties Manual handling of products up to 15kg Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Please note that this role is predominantly warehouse-based, with around 80% of the time spent picking and handling stock and around 20% operating FLT equipment. Hours & Pay £14.00 per hour Paid for 8 hours per day Unpaid lunch break Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Some flexibility on start and finish times, providing 8 hours are worked Overtime available and paid at time and a half Two weeks' training provided on commencement Requirements Valid and up-to-date Reach Truck licence Valid and up-to-date PPT licence Licences must be from a recognised accredited provider In-house licences cannot be accepted Previous warehouse experience preferred Reliable, hardworking and able to work at a good pace What's on Offer Ongoing work with the opportunity to go permanent Regular overtime available Full training and support Free tea and toast on site Friendly and supportive team environment Location The site can be accessed by public transport, although the journey can be lengthy and may require travel via Rochdale.
