Mechanical Assembler

Position: Mechanical Assembly Position: permanent Salary: £28000 to £30420 per annum Working hours: 7:45 - 4:45pm Mon – Thurs and 7:45 – 12:45pm Fri Benefits: 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, Company pension scheme, Employee assistance programme (subject to probation period) Profit related bonus scheme (subject to probation period), overtimes We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical assembly to work for engineering manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The appropriate mechanical assembler would be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of components and products in line with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and quality standards Responsibilities: Build sub-assemblies and final assemblies Fit helicoils, threaded inserts and mechanical components Follow work instructions to assemble chassis and other components using techniques that include adhesives and screws Apply adhesives and operate curing ovens Carry out post-cure operations including pin hole fixing Fitting of Lee plugs and restrictor valves using a mechanical press Use hand tools safely and effectively Requirements: Assembly or manufacturing experience Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Experience with hand tools If you think this role might be of an interest, please contact Marta Kosno (phone number removed) and forward your CV to (url removed) Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors
