Credit Controller

Credit Controller We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a small and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Credit Control experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a busy finance environment. Key Responsibilities * Work as part of a small and supportive Finance team. * Manage customer accounts and carry out regular account reconciliations. * Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally. * Post payments to the sales ledger and reconcile payments against invoices. * Handle banking duties. * Take credit card payments over the telephone. * Generate invoices through the company system. * Log invoices with customers as required. * Raise credit notes accurately and in a timely manner. * Prepare and distribute monthly system-generated customer statements. * Ensure all duties are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with good accounting practices. * Maintain and continually develop your knowledge and skills within Credit Control and Sales Ledger. * Assist with ad hoc Sales Ledger and Credit Control duties as required. Requirements * Ideally 3+ years' experience in Credit Control or a similar finance environment. * A genuine desire to develop your Credit Control and wider finance skills. * Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities. * Flexible and willing to support the wider Finance team. * Good Excel skills are essential. * Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. * A proactive and professional approach to customer account management. * This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller or an ambitious finance professional who is eager to build their experience and develop within a supportive team environment
