Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Science department (Chemistry, and Physics) * Lead, develop, and support a team of teaching staff to deliver outstanding lessons * Oversee curriculum design, implementation, and assessment across KS3–KS5 * Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies * Manage departmental resources, including laboratories and equipment * Promote STEM engagement and enrichment opportunities * Contribute to whole-school leadership and improvement planning The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in a Science discipline * Proven experience teaching Science up to KS5 * Successful leadership experience within a secondary school setting * A track record of improving student outcomes and departmental performance * Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills * A commitment to high standards and inclusive education About the School This well-regarded West London school is known for its supportive leadership, strong academic outcomes, and commitment to staff development.
