Machine Shop Supervisor

We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to work on a permanent basis near Ashton Under Lyne.

Salary is c£38-40,0000 per annum plus 25 days' notice plus bank holidays, company pension, healthcare etc
Duties for Machine Shop Supervisor:
Demonstrates a strong commitment to safe working practices and adheres to established 5S standards.
Proven supervisory experience is required, specifically within a manufacturing setting.
Preferably a time-served sheet metal worker or fabricator.
????? in interpreting and understanding technical drawings and aerospace specifications.
Solid understanding of key processes, including material cutting (CNC routing or punching), heat treatment, forming techniques (manual forming, rubber press, press brake), and a range of inspection methods. xwzovoh
Core competencies include MRP systems, problem-solving, sound decision-making, waste reduction, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, a proactive and energetic approach, along with strong communication and team management abilities.
