Learning Curve Group is seeking experienced and engaging Freelance Warehousing Tutor to join our Flexible Learning provision. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, classroom-based training and support to learners undertaking industry-relevant digital qualifications.
The successful candidate will deliver the following programmes:
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Warehousing and Storage
City and Guilds Health, Safety and Security in the facilities industry
Highfield Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities in the Logistics Industry
This role is classroom-based and requires tutors to deliver face-to-face learning sessions, providing learners with the knowledge, skills, support, and guidance required to successfully achieve their qualifications. Opportunity to also assess, mark and provide developmental feedback on learner work via remote learning and our E-assessor platform.
The ideal candidate will have recent, relevant industry experience within the warehousing sector and a passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals. Tutors will be responsible for the effective delivery of programmes, learner engagement, progress monitoring, assessment activities, and freelanced administration in line with awarding body and funding requirements.

A Freelance Tutor is a self-employed professional who delivers training on an ad-hoc basis. You will work on behalf of Learning Curve Group, delivering engaging short courses and vocational qualifications to adult learners aged 19+ within your area of occupational expertise. You will play an important role in helping learners develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to achieve their goals and progress into employment or further learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching, Learning and Assessment
Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across our Warehousing suite.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes learner engagement and achievement.
Assess learner performance and provide relevant underpinning knowledge to ensure learners meet qualification requirements.
Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression.
Monitor learner progress and implement support strategies to maximise achievement and completion rates.
Identify and address barriers to learning, providing appropriate support and guidance to learners. xwzovoh
Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet awarding organisation standards and internal quality requirements.
Essential Requirements
3+ Years of Occupational competence within your subject area
Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS/CAVA/TAQA etc)
Comfortable with travel within the region
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
About the role
Freelance Contract (0 hours per week, Ad Hoc)
£23 per hour
Based in Newcastle and surrounding areas (Sunderland, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Durham, Gateshead)
Looking for someone to deliver a minimum of 1-2 days per week (Monday-Friday)
Typical delivery hours: 9:00-15:00
Level 2 cohort delivery can take up to 5 working days (average)
