Are you a confident, motivated KS2 teacher who thrives on challenge and loves supporting pupils at a pivotal stage in their learning journey?

You'll be teaching an enthusiastic Year 6 class, delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining momentum in the run-up to the end of the academic year, and helping pupils feel confident and ready for their transition to secondary school.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality, pre-planned lessons to an established Year 6 class

• Upholding consistent routines and clear behaviour expectations

• Creating a positive, structured and engaging learning environment

• Supporting pupils across key Y6 curriculum areas - including reading, writing, maths, reasoning and wider curriculum subjects

• Encouraging pupils' independence, resilience and readiness for secondary school

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Are:

• Confident, adaptable and able to step smoothly into an upper-KS2 classroom

• Experienced in supporting pupils through a high-expectation, high-impact year

• Skilled at building strong rapport quickly with pupils and staff

• Able to deliver learning confidently from existing planning

• Passionate about helping pupils end their primary journey positively

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 6 or upper-KS2 experience desirable)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
