About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Delivery & Safeguarding Manager to oversee the successful coordination and delivery of community-based projects and support services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in safeguarding, service delivery, staff management, and operational coordination who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the delivery of group-based programmes and activities
• Coordinate staffing rotas, scheduling, and operational planning
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and compliance standards are consistently maintained
• Support and supervise staff through regular meetings and performance management
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, venues, and external professionals
• Monitor attendance, reporting, incidents, and service performance data
• Ensure contractual targets and delivery expectations are achieved
• Participate in on-call duties and respond to urgent operational matters
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, safeguarding, service delivery, or a similar leadership role within the sector
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience supporting teams and managing operational delivery
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required
Desirable:
• Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding compliance
• Experience working with vulnerable groups or within community services
• Understanding of local authority processes and partnership working
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is £28,735 – £32,000 per year. Candidates considered for the higher salary banding must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ proven leadership experience within a relevant sector.
