Learning Support Assistant - Art & Design

£16 per hour Salford

Reed FE is seeking Learning Support Assistants to provide support for students completing UAL Art qualifications.

Role details:

  • Location: Salford
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
  • Duration: ASAP start until 11 July 2026 (end of term)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class learning support to students studying UAL Art qualifications
  • Support learners with engagement, confidence, and access to the curriculum
  • Work closely with tutors to ensure students are fully supported in a creative learning environment
  • Promote independence while offering appropriate academic and pastoral support

About you:

  • Experience supporting learners in an educational setting (learning support, SEN, or similar)
  • An interest in art, design, or creative subjects would be highly beneficial
  • Patient, supportive, and reliable
  • Able to commit to the full duration of the placement

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
