High Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Rochester Hours: Full-time Phase: KS1 & KS2 We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate High Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rochester, supporting pupils with high SEN needs. The successful candidate will be confident working on a 1:1 basis and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. The role will involve: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with high additional needs Supporting children across KS1 and KS2 Helping pupils access learning and develop their independence Supporting with behaviour, emotional regulation and pastoral needs where appropriate Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children with high SEN needs Is confident providing 1:1 support Can work effectively across both KS1 and KS2 Is patient, caring, resilient and adaptable Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Holds a full Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS Has excellent communication and teamwork skills This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA, SEN Teaching Assistant or someone with strong relevant experience who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
