About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support our GXO Sainsbury's Transport operation.

You will work closely with transport management, drivers and operational teams to promote a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, reduce workplace risks and drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional health and safety advice and support to transport management and operational teams.
• Monitor workplace transport safety, including yard movements, shunting, vehicle and pedestrian segregation, and loading activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, audits and workplace observations.
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes and monitor corrective actions.
