Service Design Consultant

NEW SC CLEARED CONTRACT

Service Design Consultant | Up to £425pd Inside IR35 | 90% Remote | Active SC Required

I’m looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a public sector delivery team working on complex services where accessibility, inclusion and user needs are genuinely important.

This is a hands-on service design role for someone who enjoys taking complex problems, making sense of them and turning them into clear, practical design outcomes.

You’ll be working across:

✓ Service design and user-centred design

✓ Mapping existing and future service experiences

✓ Prototyping and testing new service concepts

✓ Designing and facilitating workshops / co-design sessions

✓ Synthesising complex information into actionable insights

✓ Communicating complex ideas through effective storytelling

✓ Balancing technical, business and user needs

✓ Designing in line with Government Service Standards

✓ Working within Agile multidisciplinary teams

I'd particularly like to speak with people who have:

GDS / Government Design System experience

Strong accessibility and inclusive design experience

Previous public sector / government service design experience

Active SC Clearance

Up to £425pd

90% remote – minimal onsite, with occasional research travel

Active SC required
