Estimator for a fit-out company with projects on multiple sectors * Read all the documents * Measure and produce a bill of quantities if applicable * Produce a sub-contractor list for approval with all contact details * Issue a tender with all drawings via transfer * Mark up any scope document, specific to the proposed trade * Add any prudent additional details within the email, dates for returning, prelims, etc. * Request dates for mobilisation, lead times and construction works. * Produce simple high level programme based on subbie feedback * Chase all subbies by email and phone to get at least 3 prices on each package * Line up all returned packages, fill in any cost/scope gaps with recommendations * Save all sub-contractor costs and relevant information directly into SharePoint in an easy to use format * Arrange meeting with directors to review ready for submission Project Control Site visit - Fortnightly CVR - Biweekly Sub-contractor management Agreeing final quotes 1. 1.
