Account Executive (Financial Software / SaaS)

Our client, a fast-growing and award-winning cloud software provider, is looking for a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join their expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with experience in financial software or SaaS, who thrives on building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth in a high-growth, innovative environment.
As an Account Executive, you will act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, understanding their business needs and helping them adopt modern financial and ERP solutions that support their growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business goals and acting as their main point of contact throughout the sales process.
New Business & Sales Growth
Identify and develop new business opportunities, implementing strategies to increase deal value and contribute to revenue growth.
Negotiation & Closing
Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals while ensuring a positive client experience and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, implementation, and customer support to deliver a seamless customer journey.
Reporting & Insights
Track and report on sales performance and account metrics, analysing trends to identify opportunities for growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar Account Executive or sales role
- Experience within the financial software / SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of sales cycles and client relationship management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build long-term client partnerships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
