Rate: £45.00 per hour + £100 weekly expenses

Make a Lasting Difference in Adoptive JourneysAre you an experienced Adoption Social Worker looking for a meaningful, long-term placement? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join the Adoption Support Team in Cumbria for a minimum of 9 months.
This role is essential in providing stability and expert guidance to children and families throughout the post-adoption phase. Covering the beautiful region of Cumbria, you will be a mobile and vital resource for families across the county.
Your ResponsibilitiesPost-Adoption Support: Deliver tailored support to children and families who request assistance following an adoption order.
Matching & Placement: Guide and support adopters through the critical matching process and throughout the placement phase.
Training & Group Work: Develop and deliver specialized training for adopters and facilitate group work sessions for adopted children.
Access to Records: Manage and deliver "Access to Records" and intermediary services for adopted adults.
Expert Collaboration: Act as a key team member, sharing in-depth knowledge with stakeholders and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience specifically within an Adoption setting.
Registration: Current registration with Social Work England.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel across the whole of Cumbria to meet family needs.
Commitment: Available for a full-time contract for a duration of at least 9 months.
Competitive Pay: £45.00 per hour (aligned with regionally agreed levels).
Additional Support: £100 weekly expenses to assist with travel and regional coverage.
Stability: A guaranteed 9-month contract in a specialized and rewarding field.
