Job ID: 21293Salary: 75,000 - 85,000Location: SE LondonRegion: Essex, Kent, LondonContract Manager urgently required for a highly regarded and long established housing developer in St Mary’s Cray, LondonThe developer builds a mixture of partnership contracts and private developments to around 150 units and have a large book of work.They are looking for someone who is able to run multiple housing projects and who has previous experience of managing site manages and project managers.The ideal candidate can come from a developer or contractor background but must have experience of deliving housing schemes and apartments.Responsibilities will include :General running of all sitesQuality control inspectionsCo-ordination of meetingsContractors reportsHealth & SafetyMaintain the existing relationships with sub-contractorsThere will be around 4 – 6 Sites running at any one time and the successful person will be based 1 day a week on each site, sites are located in SE London, North Kent and in and around the M25 of Essex so easy to reach.This Contractor currently hold excellent relationships with their sub-contractors, variations are reasonably priced and run at under 3%, they pay their sub contractors on time and wish to maintain these relationships, so the approach will be firm but fair.This will suit an individual who is looking for a good continuity of work with a forward thinking company that will give automony to their management to run departments efficiently.This will suit an individual who wishes to work for an SME having had enough of the bureaucracy of Tier 1 but wants to produce a quality control that is on par.A fantastic opportunity, please do apply at your earliest convenience with a CV.
