CHRGS is expanding its national network of experienced Locum Clerks to support councils during periods of transition, growth, or short‑term capacity gaps. What you’ll bring * Strong experience as a Parish, Town or Community Clerk, with the confidence to step into a role quickly and independently * Ideally CiLCA qualified * Confidence managing statutory duties, governance, agendas, minutes, finance liaison, and member support * Ability to adapt quickly to new councils and build rapport * Clear communication, sound judgement, and strong organisational skills We also welcome candidates with significant local government management experience who can demonstrate transferable governance and leadership capability.
