About the company
An established sheet metal fabrication company in Aldermans Green, Coventry. The business is busy and growing, with a small, close-knit team, and they’re looking for a skilled MIG welder to join them long-term.

The role

* MIG welding sheet metal fabrications from 1.0mm to 6mm

* Working mainly in mild steel and stainless steel, with some aluminium

* Some TIG welding on precision work

* Fabricating and assembling components from engineering drawings

* Producing neat, accurate welds to a high standard of finish

* Checking your own work for quality and accuracy

What they’re looking for

* Around 5 years’ MIG welding experience, ideally on thin to medium gauge sheet metal

* Confident welding mild steel and stainless; aluminium experience is a plus

* Some TIG experience is an advantage

* Able to read and work from engineering drawings

* Takes pride in a clean, precise finish

* Reliable, punctual and works well in a team

* Own transport is preferred, due to the location
