Nursery Quality Lead/Manager

Job Title: Nursery Quality Lead/Manager (room based) Location: Wembley, HA9 (Greater London) Salary: up to £45,000 per year + excellent benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (shift work from 7.30am-6pm), All Year Round Are you an experienced early years leader looking for your next career step? Key Responsibilities * Quality Assurance: Maintain excellent EYFS and Montessori standards across all learning environments. * Staff Mentoring: Support nursery leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding staff practice. * Curriculum & Tracking: Monitor the quality of observations, assessments, and learning framework updates. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance standards are met. * Partnerships: Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Mandatory Requirements * Safeguarding: A cleared Enhanced DBS check is required before work commences. * Safety: A valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate is mandatory. * Eligibility: Must have the Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available). * Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or a Montessori Diploma (Essential). * Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Lead, Senior Room Leader, Lead Practitioner, or in a senior nursery leadership role. * Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS * Skills: Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to proactively drive quality improvements.
