About the role

Performance Analyst

As a Performance Analyst, you'll play a key role in monitoring, analysing and reporting on business performance and KPIs. You'll investigate performance issues to identify root causes, trends and opportunities for improvement, transforming complex data into clear and actionable insights that support effective decision‑making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll develop and maintain management information, dashboards, reports, data models and reporting solutions using Power BI and other analytical tools. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll understand reporting requirements, provide insight‑led recommendations and support governance and performance review processes through accurate and timely reporting. You'll also ensure the quality, integrity and consistency of data while identifying opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a highly analytical and proactive individual with experience working with large datasets and complex information to deliver meaningful business insights. You'll have strong technical skills in Power BI, SQL and Excel, with experience developing reports, dashboards and data visualisations that support performance management and decision‑making.

You'll be an excellent problem solver with experience of investigating performance issues, identifying root causes and presenting findings to a range of audiences. Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders are essential.

Ideally, you'll also have knowledge of KPI frameworks, performance management and root cause analysis techniques, together with an understanding of data modelling and data visualisation best practice. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Automate, Power Query or Fabric would be advantageous.
