VNA Forklift Driver

VNA / Flexi-Bendi Forklift Operative Location: London Gateway (Stanford-le-Hope / Thurrock area) Pay: £14.50 per hour Contract: Full-time, ongoing Pay frequency: Weekly About the Role We are recruiting experienced Forklift Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation at London Gateway. This is a permanent opportunity (or long-term temporary with potential for permanence) working Monday to Friday only. You will operate VNA and/or Flexi/Bendi trucks in a fast-paced logistics environment that includes temperature-controlled (fridge) areas. The role involves the safe and efficient movement of goods, put-away, retrieval, and general warehouse support. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate VNA and/or Flexi/Bendi forklift trucks • Put away and retrieve stock from high-level and narrow-aisle racking • Load/unload and move goods accurately and efficiently • Work in temperature-controlled (fridge) environments as required • Carry out daily pre-use checks and follow all health & safety procedures • Support general warehouse duties when needed • Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety and productivity Hours • Monday to Friday • Shifts available: 06:00 – 15:30 or 07:00 – 16:30 • 30-minute unpaid lunch break • Requirements • Valid VNA licence essential (Flexi/Bendi licence highly desirable – candidates with both preferred) • In-house licences accepted • Previous warehouse experience preferred • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently • Comfortable working in fridge/chilled environments Benefits • Competitive rate of £14.50 per hour • Weekly pay • Monday–Friday working (no weekends) Opportunity for long-term/permanent work Supportive warehouse environment Immediate starts available for the right candidates.
