About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent community pharmacy group based in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Pharmacist looking to begin their career in a supportive, patient-focused environment with strong professional development opportunities.
The Role
As a Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to the local community. You will be supported by an experienced team and encouraged to develop both your clinical and professional skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Providing advice on medicines and minor ailments
Supporting and delivering NHS and private services
Building strong relationships with patients and local healthcare providers
Contributing to the growth and development of pharmacy services
Independent Prescribing (IP) Support
Non-IP Pharmacists: Full support will be provided to undertake your Independent Prescribing qualification, including mentorship and guidance
Qualified IP Pharmacists: Opportunity to step into a more clinically focused role, utilising your prescribing qualification to deliver enhanced patient care and services

GPhC registered (or due to register as a Newly Qualified Pharmacist)
