Yard Operative

Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for a Yard/Warehouse operative on behalf of our client based near Chippenham.

Immediate Start Available Pay & Benefits: £12.71 per hour
- pay increase after completion of 12 weeks Monday
- Friday, 0900
- 1700 Weekly pay 28 days paid annual leave Online payslips Pension contributions Ongoing support & opportunities for permanent work The Role: Unloading lorries containing customer equipment safely and efficiently Inspecting incoming goods for damage and reporting discrepancies Washing, cleaning, and preparing company equipment to a high standard before dispatch to customers Ensuring all equipment is checked, tested (if required), and ready for delivery Picking and packing customer orders accurately according to company procedures Labelling, wrapping, and securing goods for safe transportation Loading outgoing deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines Carrying out manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting depending on order requirements Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard and warehouse environment Completing delivery notes, stock records, and relevant documentation Following company health & safety procedures at all times Requirements: Heavy lifting Involved Previous experience within an industrial role A counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential There is also company progression available within this role. xwzovoh
