Deputy Manager Children's Residential Home (EBD) Location: Oldbury, Birmingham Salary: £36,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led organisation that has entered the sector with one clear objective to provide outstanding care and life-changing outcomes for children and young people.
With an experienced Responsible Individual already in place and an experienced Registered Manager close to appointment, you'll become a key part of the founding leadership team.
You'll play an instrumental role in establishing the home's culture, supporting the Registered Manager through registration, and helping to build an exceptional staff team from the very beginning.
The Role As Deputy Manager, you will: Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the home Lead shifts and provide guidance to the wider staff team Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment Support safeguarding, care planning and regulatory compliance Mentor and develop Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders Assist with recruitment, inductions and staff development Participate in sleep-ins as part of the rota Help prepare the home for successful Ofsted registration and inspection About You We're looking for someone who has: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Previous experience working within a children's residential home Strong leadership skills and a child-centred approach A passion for delivering exceptional outcomes Full UK Driving Licence Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Ability to commute locally to Oldbury At RJS Resourcing, we partner with values-driven children's home providers across the UK and work on a continuous stream of exciting opportunities within residential childcare. xwzovoh
